Konrad Bergström founded the company Zound Industries to challenge the traditional and boring headphone industry. At that point, the products came in black, white, and if you were very lucky, grey. Konrad copied Swatch’s successful concept and offered the consumer a full range of colours to match their shoes, clothes, bags and mood. Zound’s statement was: We make resonance couture.
Konrad and Louder Family were a match made in heaven in terms of creativity and insight into the lives of trend-receptive Stockholmers. It resulted in a magical night at Circus in Stockholm, in the middle of Stockholm Fashion Week. A night where 2500 partygoers took part in unexpected fashion shows, got to taste new flavours and swarmed around like they were at a house party with their best friends.
The team moved the boundaries of what many thought was possible, and this also contributed to the company’s enormous success, giving them the fastest growing development according to DI’s Gazelle competition, with 10,932% over a three year period.
